The
MG Partnership places specific emphasis on giving clients
comprehensive sales and marketing advice and is a member of
the Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre (ESPC) with an internet
link into the ESPC Homeline.
A typical residential sale would be conducted
along the following lines: 
- Consultation with a partner who has extensive experience
in, and knowledge of, the Scottish residential property
market.
- Inspection of the property by a qualified estate agent,
who will prepare draft sales particulars.
- Further consultation with the partner to finalise sales
particulars, determine the asking price and agree viewing
arrangements. The sales particulars are then lodged with
the ESPC.
- Advice from the partner on on-going marketing, offers,
the setting of a closing date for offers and terms of acceptance.
- Processing of conveyancing on the sale.
- Completion of financial settlement, including mortgage
repayment arrangements.
